Bellinger's orchardThe Winnie/Bellinger farm has been in the same family since 1804. The orchard originated in 1930 by Furman and Mildred Bellinger, parents of Tom Bellinger. Tom and Betty bought the farm from his parents in 1963. They decided to plant more trees and started the pick-your-own operation. Since 1998 Tom and his son-in-law have been continuously adding many of the newer varieties of apples.

That makes this weeks Farmer Friday Spotlight a sweet one... Mark, Matt, and Ben Rulison own and operate Rulison Honey Farms located in Amsterdam, NY. They have been producing honey in upstate New York since 1893. This 4th generation farm produces a wide variety of products for that local sweetener.
